Biography

Fr. Paolo was born in Trent in 1965 and on the completion of High School studies in Electrotechnics, entered our monastery of Madonna delle Laste (Trent) where he made his first Profession in 1987.  He was ordained Priest in Brescia in 1993.  In 1995 he was appointed as Master of Theology Students in Brescia and was elected Prior of the Noviciate house in Trent in 1999.  From 2005 until 2011 he served as Assistant Director of  the Madonna della neve Institute in Adro and became Director there for the triennium 2011-2014.  From 2011 to 2014 he was Vicar Provincial and Provincial Bursar of the Venetian Province.

Activity

He has been General Bursar since December 6, 2017. He is responsible for the up-keep of the Generalate, for financial relations with priories and convents (through a Common Fund), management of the properties belonging to the Generalate, for liaising with legal and tax consultants, for the care of other buildings belonging to the centre of the Order (Teresianum), for financial reports, income-expenditure (investments in stocks and shares), for the bi-annual up-date to the provinces, for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the Generalate and other buildings, for relations with suppliers (food, office supplies and furniture), for insurance contracts, for the up-keep of our account books, for management of the staff at the Generalate, for correspondence, for obtaining the necessary legal documents to live in Rome, and for offering financial advice to our nuns.
