{"id":6095,"date":"2016-07-10T18:42:25","date_gmt":"2016-07-10T16:42:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.carmelitaniscalzi.com\/en\/?p=6095"},"modified":"2021-05-04T16:40:43","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T14:40:43","slug":"formation-of-the-carmelite-nuns-and-the-centre-of-the-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.carmelitaniscalzi.com\/en\/2016\/07\/10\/formation-of-the-carmelite-nuns-and-the-centre-of-the-order\/","title":{"rendered":"Formation of the Carmelite nuns and the centre of the Order"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paying attention to the petition made by our Carmelite sisters during the 2015 Avila General Chapter, in which they were present on May 19 and 20, the center of the Order is in the process of reflecting on the formation of the Discalced Carmelite nuns, for the purpose of drawing up a concrete plan for it in agreement with them.<\/p>\n<p>Important milestones in the journey already begun, besides the meeting on last February 3, have been the meeting of the group of friars who advise the Definitory, which took place in Rome from the 1<sup>st<\/sup> to the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> June, as well as the recent meeting of Fr General with more than 135 nuns from Spain \u2013 which also included some nuns from Portugal \u2013 which took place in Avila from the 14<sup>th<\/sup> to the 18<sup>th<\/sup> of last June. Fr Saverio attended the meeting accompanied by the Vicar General, Fr Agust\u00ed Borrell, Fr Daniel Chowning the Definitor appointed for the nuns, as well as Fr Rafal Willkowski, the Secretary for the Nuns.<\/p>\n<p>In the following link you can find the texts of Fr General\u2019s conferences in Spanish (also available in Italian).
