{"id":6020,"date":"2016-07-10T13:31:42","date_gmt":"2016-07-10T11:31:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.carmelitaniscalzi.com\/en\/2016\/07\/10\/conferenza-del-p-saverio-alla-usg\/"},"modified":"2021-05-04T16:40:44","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T14:40:44","slug":"conferenza-del-p-saverio-alla-usg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.carmelitaniscalzi.com\/en\/2016\/07\/10\/conferenza-del-p-saverio-alla-usg\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference by Fr Saverio to the Union of Superiors General (USG)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As those who frequent our social networks already know, during the 87<sup>th<\/sup> monthly Assembly of Superiors General, which took place at the end of last May, Fr Saverio Cannistr\u00e0, our Superior General, gave a conference with the title: <em>What are we referring to when we speak of the prophecy of consecrated life? <\/em>\u00a0During the conference Fr Saverio called for a deepening of theological reflection on our religious identity, the only way to advance in effective leadership.<\/p>\n<p>Doing a \u201cbit of everything\u201d, continued Fr Saverior, is neither prophetic nor sustainable and borders on \u201cmaintenance strategies\u201d, leading only to undesirable situations.
