Fr Saverio in the 2018 Synod

On the 28^th of May, Fr. Mauro Jöhri, OFMCap, President of the USG, gave Cardinal Lorenzo Baldisseri, the Secretary General of the Synod of Bishops, the names of the Superiors General, elected during the recent Assembly of the Union of Superiors General, as members of the XV Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops.

Among the ten elected is our Father General, Saverio Cannistrà, ocd.

The XV Assembly will take place between the coming13^th and 28^th of October and the topic of discussion will be: “The Youth, faith and vocational discernment”.
